EveryWrites is a membership-moderated community for when you want to talk about your original projects on the internet without feeling like you've just flashed an unreceptive audience. (Most writers on Livejournal will agree: it's a problem.) Here you can engage in everything from serious, meta-heavy, thoughtful worldbuilding, to writing goofy memes about your main character's first kiss. You can take your project seriously; just don't take yourself too seriously.
If you're interested in joining EveryWrites, you can read up on how here. Because EveryWrites is such a small community (we have a membership cap of between 15 and 20 members), we are looking for fun, active participants who will work hard on their projects, take an interest in the projects of other members, and make an effort to start and engage in threads and conversations. We encourage our members to leave each other feedback--and critiques, when critiques are requested. This is not a community for wallflowers! EveryWrites is supposed to be fun, but it should be useful fun, and a big part of the usefulness of any writing circle is the extent to which its members are willing to engage with and encourage each other.
You can read our (very straightforward) community guidelines here. Thank you for your interest!
